Guild Esports, an international esports organization, has announced that it has signed a subscription agreement to raise up to £1 million. The investment comes from a prominent esports, content creation, and media brand.
Guild Esports plans to use the funds to expand its business operations, with a specific focus on the Middle Eastern North Africa (MENA) region. This region is projected to have 88 million gamers by 2026, making it a promising market for esports.
The million-dollar investment involves two unconditional payments of £250,000. Additionally, there is a third tranche of the subscription for £500,000, which is conditional on the negotiation and entry into a wider commercial agreement between the brand and Guild.
Guild Esports recognizes the growing international appetite for esports, especially in the MENA region. CEO Jasmine Skee emphasizes that this investment is crucial for furthering their vision of becoming the leading international esports and gaming-focused media brand.
Guild Esports looks forward to deepening ties with the investing brand, as they believe it is a complementary business. This partnership will help Guild Esports strengthen its position in the industry and solidify its presence in the MENA region.
